It was a pleasure to be part of Día De Los Muertos at Loma Vista in celebration of family, loved ones and ancestors who have passed away. 🇲🇽 💀 🕯️ On the Day of the Dead (Día de Los Muertos), it’s believed that the border between the spirits world and the real world dissolve. During this brief period the souls of the dead awaken and return to the living world to feast, drink, dance and play music with their loved ones. In return, the living family members or friends, treat the deceased as honored guests in their celebrations, and leave them their favorite food and other offerings at gravesites or on the ofrendas built in their homes. Ofrendas come in all shapes, sizes, colors, decorated with candles, flowers, and portraits but the one thing that’s consistent: Love and Family. ♥️
